Body & Suspension Lift
Get a lift kit installed
The primary reason for a lift kit is to gain ground clearance and improve off-road suspension. Lift kits also provide greater wheel clearance and allow for larger circumference tyres. There are two ways to achieve a lift in your vehicle and depending on your reason to lift will determine if you need a suspension lift or if a body lift will achieve what you need.
Body lifts or level kits
levelling kits are the least expensive way to lift your vehicle. They are essentially a spacer that is going to go on top of the factory strut. So you’re not changing the shocks, the damping rate, you’re not changing the springs at all. It’s all the factory suspension that’s set up for a much lighter wheel and tire that can lead to problems and that’s why we’d recommend you also consider your shocks as well.
Suspension lift kits
A suspension lift kit is going to give you an entire strut assembly that is designed for heavier and larger wheels and rim components. Particularly when your aim is to lift your vehicle more than 4 inches. Performance lift kits improve the ride height and ensure your car handles as good or better than the factory design.
